ECHA has now published the long awaited guidance on labelling and packaging in accordance with the CLP Regulation.

There are several examples for the appropriate package design.

The selection of Precautionary statements (P-phrases) makes the biggest part of this guide. The authors from authorities and industry have choosen a pragmatic approach. For the single Hazard classes and categories a suitable and manageable set of P-phrases - tagged with the labels Highly recommended, Recommended and Optional - is listed.
