The due amendment of the German Hazardous Substance Ordinance (Gefahrstoffverordnung) in adapting it to the REACH and CLP Regulations has become effective on 01.12.2010.

The ordinance still refers to classification and labelling in accordance with the Directives 67/548/ECC and 1999/45/EC. A complete adaptation to CLP will be established after the end of the transition period for the classification of mixtures mid 2015.
